Erie has been a wonderful place to live and raise a family. My wife Tarah and I have made Erie our home for almost 7 years and it's here that we raised our son Clay (8) and our daughters Sloan (6) and Quinn (4).
Erie's unique, family oriented quality of life is why we moved here and chose to open a small family-owned business that fills a need in the community.
I'm running for Town Board to dedicate my time back to the place that I've grown with and has given me so much over the years. We deserve a Board that is focused on policies and priorities that benefit our residents and our businesses, and less concerned with divisive policies.
Erie is one-of-a-kind in part because of its small town feel. After a long period of tremendous residential growth, now is the time to attract more high-quality businesses. New retail businesses and top-quality employers will serve Erie customers, employ Erie residents, generate recurring sales tax revenue, and let people work closer to home.
Fewer regulations and barriers to entry will kick start more business leaders to relocate or start a business in Erie - an effort that will ultimately benefit all of us.
If elected, I will strive to focus the Erie Board on empowering parents to do what they feel is best for their children - at school, at home, and at play. I will support our law enforcement who work so bravely to keep our neighborhoods safe. And I will work to find ways the the town can be more fiscally responsible, and better prepared for the future.
